Let's Go Naked - So Many Mysteries

Let's Go Naked - So Many Mysteries
Formed in the mid 1980's in Brisbane, Let's Go Naked attracted immediate attention further afield.

Signed to Sydney label Waterfront Records, the band released 'Everything' in 1986. A top 10 indie debut, it garnered great reviews and the ears of influential BBC DJ, John Peel who also championed the single Three Limbs when it was released 18 months later.

“Let's Go Naked are worth paying attention to for coming up with one of the years most ear-catching singles” said the Sydney Morning Herald.

In 2007, Glasgow label Egg Records released 'Insides', a compilation album of released and unreleased material plus two new songs.

The response to the new material on 'Insides' prompted the band to return to the studio to record the new album Emotion Engine. Without question, it is the bands finest hour.

First single from the album is the ethereal textured beauty of So Many Mysteries.

Other standouts are the melodic and haunting Heartbroken, the pop rock urgency of Blind, the summery Pure Sunshine, the cinematic pull of Worlds Away and the psyche-pop of Into The Night Sky.

Featuring the guitars of ex Go-Between, John Willsteed, Let's Go Naked's distinctive and intoxicating sound has reached new heights.
