Growing up in Broome as a child brings back a lot of fond memories for Arnold, fishing with his family and playing with his friends in the bush in the days when the Pearling industry was at its peak. It was a carefree and peaceful life.

Recorded in Bobieding, a little settlement near Beagle Bay that his Father started, and living with his brothers and family close by, John ‘Whiskers’ Cox has been walking around with this tune in his head for 20 years. Hearing it brought smiles.

Kevin describes his music as veranda music, and every afternoon as the sun sets on the Beagle Bay, you can hear Birchy’s acoustic guitar giving a soundtrack to the landscape and history of the Peninsula. This instrumental is named after a local Priest.
