Yaw’s powerful live presence has seen him performed at various events and festivals, including Let Them Eat Cake, Golden Plains, Love Dancehall and Reggae Dancehall Vibes, Sydney’s Africultures Festival and St Kilda Festival.
His unique versatility has seen him collaborate with an array of international producers, namely Machinedrum (USA), King Toppa (Germany), Harmon (Australia) and Dubsy.
After the successful release of his EP ‘Maskya’, created in collaboration with Machinedrum and SK Simeon, Yaw signed to Alt Music Group in early 2017. Since then, Yaw released three hit singles ‘Massive’, ‘Expose This’ and ‘Takeover’. That same year, Yaw released his sonic boundarybreaking EP ‘Breath’, raising the bar in Afrobeat and Dancehall music.
There seems to be no signs of slowing down for Melbourne’s Afro-fusion Trailblazer, collaborating with New Zealand’s rising star, JessB. The pair have teamed up on the ‘Expose This (Remix)’ and Yaw recently supported JessB’s tour at the Belleville in Melbourne this year.
