Winterbourne - Steady My Bones

Winterbourne - Steady My Bones
Central Coast folk rock duo Winterbourne (aka James Draper and Jordan Brady) had a big 2014. They released their debut EP ‘All But The Sun’ through Island Records Australia, toured nationally with Patrick James then Little May and played live shows almost every weekend while continuing to craft their already sophisticated sound and captivating new audiences.

Meeting at high school, the duo had a common interest in music, growing up on The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, ACDC, Stereophonics and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Post high school, they adapted a disciplined weekend morning routine; waking up at 4am and driving to Sydney, then waiting nine hours to eventually busk the main spot in Pitt Street Mall. The same would happen in Melbourne.

Over this period, original songs were penned and the Winterbourne's sound was developed for the eventual release of their debut EP ‘All But The Sun’. The EP sees acoustic and electric guitars, weaving with mandolin, lush bass and keys and rhythmic drumming forming a collection of well-crafted songs.

‘All But The Sun’ has organically gone on to sell thousands after debuting No.9 on the iTunes Album Charts and landing them a spot on NME.COM with their video for ‘Cold’.
