Sydney-based Watchglass is in the midst of creating a new, unique sonic landscape. Armed with diverse musical influences their songwriting team is honing well-crafted songs that bridge the gap between folk and pop while throwing in a funky-jazzy twist. Whether live or recorded, the ethereal and personal vocals will take you on an emotional journey while still retaining an element of fun and soulfulness. Creative and chiming acoustic guitar and a solid rhythm section round out the sound. Watchglass can be found on Spotify, YouTube, and Facebook. Seek them out and enjoy the experience.

Music and gig reviews:
“Songwriting that's folky but a bit jazzy and rock too. Quite life-affirming. A joyful, creative craftsmanship. Really, this album is excellent. I dare you not to be moved by Catch My Breath and Not Here. Nice that Found You was included in the Spotify “teaser” – it’s the wildcard on the album. Love, love, love it!!!" About this track...

“Serendipity and the Dog” is just one of those songs that would be a fine enough legacy for a band - it’s so perfect. A lovely riff, an everyday story with simple detail, a calm and low verse melody, which then swoops “Oh Hey” soaring up into a perfect chorus, flying higher for the bridge, with a final soft landing.
