Velvet & Wire - Wanted in Texas

Velvet & Wire - Wanted in Texas
Collaborative performance by Michael Fix, Brendan Radford and Hussy Hicks, performing under the moniker "Velvet & Wire" recorded at the 2010 National Country Music Muster in Gympie by Brisbane Country Music station, 98.9fm.

Guitar virtuoso Michael Fix is also a prolific composer and in-demand producer. With a stellar career that spans more than three decades, Michael has released 10 albums and toured Australia, Europe and Asia. He’s a multi-award winner with three Golden Guitars to his credit, and has his own signature Maton guitar.

Brendan Radford is a gifted vocalist and guitarist who has just released his debut solo album, Snow. He has performed and recorded with many leading Australian and international artists, and was part of Lee Kernaghan’s touring band for ten years.

Hussy Hicks – Leesa Gentz and Julz Parker – describe their music as passionate, spontaneous, exuberant, emotive, intricate, explosive and fun – and even that fails to adequately describe their live show. That inexplicable magic has swept these two girls from the small-town pub where they first met on a journey that has seen them perform regularly at some of the world’s most prestigious venues and festivals stages to universal acclaim.
