Eclectic as it is immediate, Geelong native Tiber’s debut EP traverses a wide sonic palette across it’s five tracks. Hi-fi West Coast hip-hop, chordal piano, deep jungle, brief flickers of eastern instrumentation and disembodied vocal hymns all leak through a prism of left-field bass music characterised by the channels Moonbase Commander has dug for Trench Records.
Speaking about the EP, Tiber says, “This EP is definitely influenced by the need to take control of certain aspects of life and not let them take over, be it work or play. It's kind of a raw, basic human thing that needs to be done and these songs are a reflection of that.”
Tiber’s involvement in the recording process stretches not only to production: he also mixed, mastered the EP and even created the cover artwork from scratch. He’s a true creator in control of his art with a thrilling debut EP for Trench Records.
