The Picture Gardens - Hurt, Heal, Live

The Picture Gardens - Hurt, Heal, Live
The Picture Gardens are an Indigenous band formed by three members a few years ago who all had a passion for creating music. On the drums is Dwayne Barnes, on lead is Brett Dimer and on bass/vocals is Warwick Tullock, all of whom have some connection to the northern part of the Goldfields and Murchison of Western Australia.

Over the years they have played in towns like Laverton, Leonora, Mt Magnet and Meekatharra with their most notable achievement winning the Best Cover Category at the Meekatharra Battle of the Bands 2009. Although the band enjoys playing cover songs, there has always been a focus of writing and creating "The Gardens" own original sounding music.

This track was included on the Sounds of the Goldfields compilation, which saw ten diverse artists recorded. The CD was officially launched to a sold out audience at the Goldfields Arts Centre on Saturday 28 May, with live performances from all featured artists.

Sounds Of The Goldfields has been the Feature Album on numerous community radio stations, as well as all tracks receiving key airplay on ABC radio stations, and it’s now time to share these incredible artists with the rest of Australia.
