The Lockhearts - Ride Home

The Lockhearts - Ride Home
The Lockhearts are fronted by Tim Meaco on vocals and guitar, Sam Sheumack on guitar, Jameel Majam on bass and Steve ‘Woodie’ Woodward on drums.

Formed in 2012, drawing from the members’ shared love of vintage guitar stores, hot sauce and the first four Van Halen albums, The Lockhearts hold claim to the longest running weekly residency in Sydney, have toured Australia extensively, and created their own annual sell-out festival “Old Mates Block Party”.

About this track...

Already a live favourite, "Ride Home" boasts one of the band’s most infectious vocal refrains, a dangling earworm akin to The Black Crowes "Remedy". The group embraces their 70s rock influences and deliver a needle-in-the-red cut driving song with promised bursts of “doom fuzz” peppered throughout.
