The Cat Empire from Melbourne have released six studio albums, the 'Cities' special project album, live albums and performed well in excess of 1200 shows all over the world. With a core group of 6 members since the start of their recording and touring career, Felix Riebl (percussion and vocals), Harry James Angus (trumpet and vocals), Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (decks, percussion), Ollie McGill (keyboard and backing vocals), and Ryan Monro (bass and backing vocals). Over their 18 years they have amassed an audience that gets bigger with each tour, not only in Australia but all over the world where they have sold out venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall and performed at festivals including main stages at Glastonbury (UK), Coachella, Bonnaroo (USA), Toronto & Montreal Jazz Festivals (Canada) Nuke, Quart, Edinburgh Festivals (Europe) and Summersonic (Japan). Their most recent album 'Rising With The Sun' debuted # 1 in Australia and Top 10 in 6 countries including Romania, Hungary, Sweden, Canada, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Top 20 in 16 countries including; Malaysia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, South Africa, United Kingdom, Portugal and Spain and #9 on the Worldwide iTunes charts.
