The Busymen - Dangerous

The Busymen - Dangerous
The Busymen are Brisbane’s original and most primitive R’n’B, Garage Punk band playing a savage mix of organ and fuzz guitar driven originals and obscure sixties North West Texan stompers, blowing the minds and ears of Brisbane since the 19nineties.

The current line-up has been together for almost a decade, featuring main man Boston Bob on vox and organ; Michael (The Kings Enemies, The Buzzrays, Mikey Boy Music) on fuzz guitar and backing vocals; Jack (Delirium Seeds, The Purple Avengers) on bass and Russell (Delirium Seeds, Mystery of Sixes) on percussion.

With two vinyl releases, the latest EP "Tick Tock" was recorded in the analog surroundings of Swashbuckling Hobo Records in Coorparoo by Dr Rock (The Dangermen, Happy Times) and is a mix of original tunes and wild, obscure cover versions.

Wreakin' havoc on the harmonica the caped crusader Screamin' Stevie (The Hekawis, Screamin Stevies Australia) pops his head up to give these tracks some extra spice.
