Tempura Nights - R.I.P. CHIX

Tempura Nights - R.I.P. CHIX
Since the addition of Alan Weise (The Good Sports) on bass, Alana Ronaldo (Go Violets) and Jay Knoxville (Major Leagues) have taken to DIY recording in a borrowed Brisbane studio, mixing sleep deprivation with Red Bulls and an itch to expand their sound. The White Whine EP, the trio's upcoming release due in mid-2014, hopes to distill Tempura Nights' dream-pop and punk foundations (Joanna Gruesome, Speedy Ortiz, Galaxie 500, Slutever) into guitar-heavy songs that focus on first world problems, weird accents and experimental structures.

About this track...

R.I.P. CHIX is a shrewd, guitar-heavy pop song inspired by The Virgin Suicides and the lives of precious, over-privileged girls.
