The Pink Tiles are back with a concept cassingle that distills pop perfection and existential doubt into a dangerously irresistible brew! Two Sides of The Pink Tiles is guaranteed to leave your head spinning as you flip this release from side to side, over and over again...

The Pink Tiles latest release gets scuzzier than ever, as the band’s signature sugary pop sheen is thrown on its side while they wrestle with themes of dread, disillusionment, dissent and choice in today’s world.

Never fear though, the band’s distinct vocal harmonies and unmistakable Casiotone melodies shine more than ever in this latest release, only ever stepping aside to make room for the crashing cymbals, fuzzed-out guitars and wild jams that tumble through the breakneck journey that is Two Sides of The Pink Tiles.

Two Sides of The Pink Tiles was recorded, mixed and mastered at A Secret Location Sound Recorders by Paul Maybury (Rocket Science, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard), with artwork by long-time collaborator Greg Tippett.

About this track...

The opening riff cuts like a blunt knife through stale bread. This riotous stomper sees The Pink Tiles take an ironic swing back to optimism, posing the question of how we want to live in these festering times? “Simply” starts with a giggle and ends in an inferno. Metaphorical? Perhaps.
