Sparrows - Over & Out     Pop, Dance, House, Electronic 24/08/2018
Australian singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sparrows fell in love with playing the guitar and writing songs as a kid inspired by her father and uncle playing in bands around Australia.
‘Over & Out’ is an addictive piece of robust pop. Building from a chopped up iPhone recording into a pulsing chorus of layered, shimmering vocals. ‘Over & Out’ is a song about finality. "a number of realities I had been operating in were no longer conducive to me, so I called an over and out on them”.

Pat Carroll - Conditions     Electronic, Techno, Atmospheric, Soundscapes 25/08/2018
Pat Carroll is a young Sydney producer creating layered and complex music in the vein of Jon Hopkins. He is currently studying a PHD in music composition at the CON
Conditions was started at the very end of 2017, and mainly revolves around a simple chord sequence that slowly gets passed around by different sounds. I wanted to end the EP on a softer note, so after the climax of the track, the sounds begin to calm down and the close is more spacious.

Sparrows - Do U Wanna Dance?     Electronic, Pop, Dance 14/03/2019
Creating pop-laden melodies with percussive ingenuity, Sparrows is no stranger of emotionally evocative music since fallen in love with playing the guitar and writing songs as a kid.
'Do U Wanna Dance?' is the story of a boozy house party hook-up song coupled with a warm, rolling drum line and softly peppered chorus eloquently explained by Sparrows herself:

"When you find yourself at a shit party and the only thing stopping you from leaving is the hope you'll hook up with that person you've crushed on for ages."

Pat Carroll - Plateau (Edit)     Electronic, Dance, Downbeat, Experimental 16/04/2019
Pat Carroll has carved a space into the landscape of contemporary music providing a fitting crossroad of electroacoustic sounds from his PHD studies and interest in sci-fi themes and novels.
Branching out from Carroll’s signature cinematic style, his new track ‘Plateau’ commences with a wash of angelic vocal chops and frictionless synths, leading the song into much more intimate territory. The track presents an evolution of space and sounds recorded window.

"'Plateau' is made from field recordings of thunder and hail hitting my window in a heavy Sydney storm."

Jerome Blazé - Chame ft. Jofi     Electronic, Dance, Atmospheric, Downbeat 26/07/2019
Sydney based producer Jerome Blazé makes striking electronic music that is as immersive as it is danceable.
Collaborating with fellow Sydney Conservatorium of Music student Jofi, soaring melodies call above the blankets of sound, singing the words ‘watched it slip behind me’. The evolving terrain of the hike followed a river, and a field recording Blazé took of the river runs beneath the gradually emerging voices of the song.

Pat Carroll - Augur     Electronic / Beats / Industrial, Dance, Experimental 06/11/2019
Electronic artist Pat Carroll has carved himself a space into the landscape of contemporary electronic music while providing a fitting home of electroacoustic sounds from his current PhD studies.
Augur begins to grow into this really dense texture around the melody, moving between minor and major. I always interpret those kinds of harmonic moves as an expression of hope, but it's so subjective.
