Wagons - Keep On Coming Back     Rock, Pop, Alternative Country 20/06/2019
Wagons stay atop their own tidal wave of hard-hitting, outlaw inspired, swamp rock madness, still pulsing and stomping together as a joint force, with singer Henry Wagons at the helm.
“Keep on Coming Back” is a collection of recurring memories, ear-worms, strange habits, and scars; the way things can hover in space and time and how a single experience or place can prompt an old memory and inspire the future all at once.

Emma Russack is a Melbourne-via-Narooma artist performing plainspoken indie rock and pop, complete with hooky melodies, slacker guitar, tongue-in-cheek humour and stream of consciousness narratives.
"'Be Real' is about my frustration with phone obsession, social media, hype and trend - the phoniness that I see all over the place (and actually buy into). I’m really trying to emphasise the importance of being true to yourself and being ‘real' - whatever the hell that means."

Emma Russack - Winter Blues     Folk, Downbeat, Rock, Pop 14/05/2019
Emma Russack is a Melbourne-via-Narooma artist performing plainspoken indie rock and pop, complete with hooky melodies, slacker guitar, tongue-in-cheek humour and stream of consciousness narratives.
The four-and-a-half-minute song is the album’s centrepiece. Remarkably subtle and incredibly beautiful, the song floats in a sombre key, intermittently dotted by Russack’s contemplations, “blame it on the winter blues”.

Crepes - As You Go     Rock, Pop, Britpop 20/09/2018
Melbourne-via-Ballarat five-piece, Crepes, create retro-edged garage pop rock, sparkly harmonies abound.
'As You Go' is a retro-edged pop rock track taken from Crepes' forthcoming sophomore album 'In Cahoots'. The song was recorded by Totally Mild's Zachary Schneider.

Gold Class - Life As A Gun     Rock 03/02/2016
There are few voices of meaningful dissent left in rock music. Even fewer play with the savagery, subtlety and melody of newcomers Gold Class.
Gold Class, surge with an urgent cadence on their single “Life As a Gun”.

The four-piece present a musical style that is both familiar and hard to pin. Like a punkier Viva Hate era Morrissey or a moodier Gang of Four, the song, taken from their upcoming debut album.

Kieran Ryan - Red-Eyed Birds     Rock, Pop 15/05/2013
Kieran Ryan, songwriter and one half of now split indie rock duo Kid Sam.
Evocative narratives with themes of significance – our place in the world and the passing of time – the largely self-recorded album summons a much deeper sound than Kid Sam’s acclaimed record: setting textured ballads to rumbling guitars lines, and grandiose indie with a flowing Australian feel.

Bored Nothing - S**t for Brains     Rock, Experimental 21/11/2012
Bored Nothing is certainly a strange phenomenon, mainly as it doesn't have a hub and it only recently became a band.
