Jack And The Kids - Your Eyes     Rock, Pop 16/05/2017
2016 was one of momentum for Jack & The Kids, winning jjj unearthed’s Bendigo Groovin’ The Moo slot, and releasing single ‘Alone’, they continue on this year with ‘Your Eyes’.
Recorded and mixed by Aaron Dobos (The Avalanches, Ceres), ‘Your Eyes’ melds ambient indie pop with contemplative lyrics. Singer and songwriter Jack Kennedy reflects on the track:
"The song explores those nostalgic feelings that you get when you look over your life and you’ve had to make some tough decisions."

Cloud Castles - Puzzle Pieces     Rock, Psychedelic 02/05/2017
Melbourne ambient jangle-pop duo Cloud Castles blend blissful shimmering guitar lines with emphatic rhythms.
Jangly delayed guitars and infectiously catchy drums are hallmarks of Cloud Castles’ first offering, just a taste of what’s to come on their forthcoming debut EP.

Swim Season - Lungs     Pop, Rock 17/03/2017
The Melbourne quintet born from earlier project We The People quickly garnered respect locally for their energetic live show and internationally for their remarkably catchy tunes and film clips.
Building on popular earlier singles ‘Soldiers’, ‘Hide & Seek’ and ‘The Throne’, Swim Season have harnessed their signature sound into a matured package, proving continued songwriting growth in ‘Lungs’. Despite focusing on darker subject matter, the track doesn’t lose its ability to catch you with a great pop hook.

Kalacoma - Knives (Lupa J Remix)     Electronic, Atmospheric, Experimental 07/02/2017
Fusing electronic and acoustic elements, Kalacoma layer intricate rhythms and flimic soundscapes with soaring melodic vocals, weaving diverse influences into something had to pin down yet seamless in execution.
Classically trained electronic producer Lupa J has remixed trip-hop quintet Kalacoma’s ‘Knives’ - and it’s everything one might want of a track shared by these two quirky artists. A glitchy take on Kalacoma’s signature soundscape, Lupa J hasn’t held back, yet has still ensured some key Kalacoma elements remain.

Kalacoma - Doublethink     Electronic, Industrial, Experimental 04/11/2016
Kalacoma are a five piece trip-hop/electronica band writing music that draws on their love of vintage tone and the avant-garde.
An intricate display of songwriting and arrangement, encompassing the natural sound of the ocean and Kalacoma's signature off-kilter builds.

Aeora - Afloat (Arthur Wimble Remix)     Electronic, Pop, Downbeat 02/09/2016
In her exploration of different beats and learning how to manipulate vocal tracks, Melbourne’s Lisa Spencer became Aeora.
Amidst a slew of challenges, Melbourne-based electro-pop artist Aeora wrote single 'Afloat' as a reminder of the importance of being happy, and anonymous Brisbane-based producer Arthur Wimble has morphed it into a killer electronic jam, even including some vocals and lyrics of his own.

Blyolk - Don Wowry     Pop, Experimental, Electronic 20/05/2016
Blyolk (pronounced ‘bloke’) is the brainchild of 20 year old Melbourne producer/songwriter Sebastian Chesney whose music fuses psychedelia, gritty rhythms and a warped pop aesthetic.
Vibrant and shimmery, the 'Don Wowry' features a warped pop sound & some great synth and guitar work, with an oozing vocal cutting right through.

RKDA - Frontline     Electronic, Industrial, Ambience, Atmospheric 11/05/2016
Emerging in early 2015, Melbourne three-piece RKDA (pronounced arcadia) exudes a unique style, both visually and sonically through their exploration of eccentric underground electronic beats.
Frontline is the first RKDA track to feature Ana as a vocalist, and has a genuine eerie quality about it's slow, droning sound.
