Chemicals reflects two sides of a broken relationship. Jeida wrote and sung both the guy and girl’s point of views, so you never truly really know who was at fault. Chemicals is self-produced by Jeida with co-production from frequent collaborator Lucianblomkamp - known for his production credits with 6LACK, Khalid and Mallrat. It's the first single from Jeida's debut EP.
