Scientists Release first recording in 30-years; a primal post-punk experimental pop band starting in Perth, lead by Kim Salmon to Sydney and London influencing myriads of musicians on the way.
Dutronc’s Mini Min' Mini was always a good fit for the Scientists with its ‘minimalism’. Dutronc humorously bemoans suffocating in the age of miniaturisation. That the Scientists’ recording of this song, done with each member in different cities, was enabled by digital technology stemming from miniaturisation, is irony par excellence.
