Suburban Haze - Clip     Rock, Punk, Grunge, Garage 09/03/2016
Initially formed in 2012 as a side-project to Newcastle band Tired Minds, Suburban Haze envisaged a more nuanced style that drew on post-punk sounds weighted by singer Paul’s baritone vocals.
So many of those in authority positions are just using those positions to take advantage of people. This song is about those people who somehow end up in positions of power. Noodling clean guitars and orchestral synth take the main stage on this heavily new-wave inspired song.

Love Like Hate - List     Pop, Rock, Grunge, Experimental 03/11/2015
Heather Cheketri and Sonja Ter Horst who make up the guitar and piano ensemble, began crafting their intricate blend of post-punk rhythm guitar, atmospheric-electronics and piano-led melodies 5 years ago.
List is a hypothetical scenario of the world ending. On a personal note, it invokes the question of whether someone would put aside his or her bigotry, knowing the world was to end. On the same note; if the world were to end, who would you want to be with?

Inventions - I Said Goodbye     Rock, Pop 18/09/2015
Melbourne-based Alt-Punk five-piece, Inventions are set on challenging the current pop-punk and heavy music paradigm by pouring out theatrical alt-punk tracks bursting with energy, melody and emotion.
The addictive new single I Said Goodbye is the first taste of the band’s new material; a self-produced gem that is lyrically weighted by the burdens and depths of depression and anxiety. The message rings clear — a cri de coeur for something brighter.

Seth Sentry - Run     Hip Hop, Rap 11/12/2014
Seth Sentry's first album, This Was Tomorrow, debuted at #6 on the ARIA charts. Only a few years down the track, Seth is regarded as one of Australia's premier rappers.
Seth explores his childhood as a bored kid in a small-town, making fun however ya can. Longing for a forgotten sense of danger and excitement, Run gives a nostalgic glimpse at one of Australia's successful rappers, back when he was still just a little kid telling you to shut up.

1200 Techniques - Time Has Come     Hip Hop, Rap, Funk 28/10/2014
Australian hip hop pioneers, 1200 TECHNIQUES break their decade of silence with the announcement of new EP, Time Has Come, to be released on Friday 23 January through Rubber Records.
Time Has Come is about the journey of music and life within the music industry through the band's eyes thus far. "We wanted to share our story, our ups and downs", says N'fa. All original music, no samples, just creativity and honesty.

Cam Gilmour - The Old Man and his Tea     Hip Hop, Instrumental 11/10/2014
Melbourne musician, Cam Gilmour has released his second EP, Anhedonia. The five-track EP is a work of melodic instrumental music, that speaks volumes without ever saying a word.
Playing on Hemingway’s famous title, the first song off the EP, ‘The Old Man and his Tea’ sets the tone of the Anhedonia EP, registering like a dramatic film score.
