Just over 12 months in development, Melbourne’s murmurmur are gearing up to release their debut EP. An audible soundscape of joy for your ears in the form of prog/psych-pop odysseys.
Produced by Oscar Dawson of Holy Holy, ‘Marmalade’ bursts with esoteric hooks and harmonies that play out over Will Fletcher’s tongue-in-cheek take on the exuberant highs and wallowing lows of romantic relationships.
Will says “Basically, this is my attempt at a love song featuring all the cheddar you could possibly imagine".

Mickey Kojak is an electronic musician, producer and vocalist from Sydney, Australia. Kojak’s music is multifaceted with everything from honest lyrical ballads with lush, ethereal soundscapes to face-melting electronic anthems.
All That Acid came about prior to Mickey's debut live show earlier this year at The Lansdowne where he wanted to perform a track that was excessive, fun and easy to remember. After tinkering around on some old keyboards, recording some dirty snare drums and getting a crowd of mates to shout into a microphone, "All That Acid" was born.

A few guilty pleasures particularly from our drummer, whilst entering into a new sound, encompassing new styles and genres. The track name explains our stance on any trolls who might not dig the track. We do and hope you do too.

murmurmur creates music that is steady, riffy and layered. Singer Will Fletcher's vocals are immediately compelling and urgent. The songs are prog alt-rock odysseys in their arrangement and their lyricism.
Lyrically, “Cable Car” explores the process reimagining the future when you lose sight of your original dream or vision. It's about transition and change, and learning to let go of the past. There is an urgency to the song - like a time and place you’re not aware of but which you’re desperate to find.
