Bain’s profile and recognition as a talented performer has continued to steadily grow supporting artists such as Pete Murray, Missy Higgins, Cold Chisel, Icehouse & Sarah Blasko as well as being a regular on the festival circuit in Australia.
This new EP explores beyond his blues/roots influences that have characterised his previous work and showcases his musical diversity with more of a soul/rock influence.
Recorded primarily with ARIA award winning producer Joel Quartermain (Eskimo Joe) who also stepped in as a musician, the 6 track EP is garnering great reviews. The upbeat, catchy single "In the Middle" co-written with Quartermain is proving very popular.
Winner of the WA Music Industry (WAM) 2013 Blues & Roots Act of the Year following on from consecutive WAM Song of the Year awards and reaching final status in the International Songwriting Competition (USA) and Unsigned Only(USA), Bain is gearing up to take his music to Europe in September 2014.
