Mast Gully Fellers - The Buncha

Mast Gully Fellers - The Buncha
Named after an early term for the Dandenong Ranges foothills where they're from, and the tree fellers who harvested it’s trees for ship masts, the Mast Gully Fellers are a band out to create authentic music and have a good time.

Borrowing from the folk, roots and country style of music they listen to, this quintet sing their stories with catchy melodies and 4 part harmonies. They draw inspiration from the gully they live in, the places they have travelled, their loves and their aches.

With the instrumentation of dobro, banjo, guitar, dbl bass, percussion and a touch of harmonica and ukulele in between, Mast Gully Fellers embrace a contemporary sound while still being true to their country roots.

With tunes that echo the past but are relevant in the present, Mast Gully Fellers have been regaling audiences with their modern interpretation of the folk and roots style throughout Melbourne and rural Victoria since 2015.

About this track...

The Buncha is part yarn - part song. It's about "Lenny", a bloke who was kicked out of his second home, the local pub, after the new publican took over and started cleaning up the place.
