Mantist has released his first EP album “Out of Poverty into the Glory” toward the end of 2009, which consist of 10 tracks.
The EP album sold 1000 printed copies and 350 digital sales in the first year.
In early 2011, Mantist has formed forces with his fellow South Sudanese Australian and long time friend, Bolo.
The two Brisbane based rappers began writing songs together and performing frequently throughout Brisbane.
Their live shows have been describes as energetic, funky and fresh.
They have stated in an interview that, they’re largely influence by Nas, Shaggy and Busta Rhymes.
The boys have performed in some of the most celebrated festivals in Brisbane and they have headlined in World Refugee day with an audience of more than 13 000. They have received impressive media and editorial coverage in the following publications: The Courier Mail, MX, City News, Scene magazine, The Chronicle. Furthermore radio stations such as ABC Coast FM, SBS radio, 4ZZZ have conducted on-air interviews with them.
