The video for ‘Warzone of the Suburbs’ is full of twists and turns, exploring the lyrical narrative while referencing retro-futurism and a dark and surreal undertone. Scott, describes the song, as a message to stop putting up with abuse. “I wrote it in the garage of a sketchy neighbourhood I used to live in. Inspired by my neighbours fighting ‘Warzone of the Suburbs’ is a call for them to break the silence’ & realise that their relationship is unhealthy.”
'Warzone of the Suburbs' follows on from Lola Scott's debut single 'Hush'. Since it's release Scott has supported Clea and Samsaruh and played guitar and synth for Asta & The Kava Kings across Europe and Australia.
