In London, the Little Death album was engineered by Andrew Hughes (Florence and the Machine).
Returning to Perth from a life-affirming trip, Little Death recorded an emotional, brutally honest record that intertwines the intricate and delicate nature of Carson’s lyrics with the brazen, uninhibited music he backs them with.
“I was feeling very Nihilistic at the time of writing this track, I felt confused about how to do anything to impact the world positively and so debilitated by my own issues to have the strength to stand up for what I believe in,” says Carson on the writing of the track ‘Valleys’, revealing yet again the intensity with which he approaches his craft. “This song is a big fuck you to all the people destroying this world from their own selfish ends.
