Piquing the early interest of industry with debut EP Lesson Learned and lead single ‘Friends’, Kwame’s first release saw him become one of the most played artists on triple j Unearthed.

Bursting into 2018, Kwame returned with summer hip-hop anthem ‘WOW’ from his EP Endless Conversations. Written and produced by Kwame, the release propelled him to support heavyweights Migos, 6lack, AJ Tracey, Bliss n Eso and a national spot on the recent Peking Duk ‘Wasted’ tour.

Kwame backed this up by taking out the winning spot on triple j’s Splendour in the Grass competition and WOWing crowds with three knock-out showcases at BIGSOUND festival. His second single off the Endless Conversations EP, ‘NO TIME’, earned Kwame even more praise and sealed his position as the new king of Australian hip-hop scene as well as a spot supporting Tkay Maidza on a national tour and opening for Skepta at The Forum in Melbourne.

Kwame joins Vera Blue for two shows this December before playing summer festivals SPILT MILK, Party in the Paddock, Mountain Sounds, Festival of the Sun, The Hills are Alive and Party in the Paddock. He then heads out on a headline tour in support of CLOUDS in February.

About this track...

'CLOUDS' is a slick track about the self realisation of the worth and purpose you have in this world, Kwame explains. "As humans we’re not being taught about this, some find it narcissistic. I find that believing and loving yourself is so important, especially living in a world where you can be easily shut down and broken."
