'Sounds of' projects are an initiative to deliver multiple contemporary music-based and community outcomes for regional and remote West Australia. Audio recording tuition, acoustical knowledge and song producing skills are delivered for participants, who will be mentored by two professional recording engineers, George Nikoloudis and Matt Giovangello.

Both professional engineers bring a combined experience of over 35 years to the project and are both highly respected within the West Australian contemporary music industry.

Local songwriters and musicians from Wiluna recorded their original songs in a temporary studio installed in a local house, with musicians recording each other under the guidance of the professional engineers.
