Starting out in the country music industry as a 13 year old with a big dream, Katie knew what success felt like from a very young age, winning country music talent quests and traveling most weekends up and down the south QLD and NSW coast line to compete.
At age 16, she received her first scholarship to study at the prestigious Junior Academy of Country Music in Tamworth. This gave her an insight into the industry as she learnt vocal, performance, musician and industry skills from professional artists such as Gina Jeffreys and Troy Cassar-Daley.
Then at 18, Katie received the onpportunity to further her skills and attend the Australian College of Country Music.
This led to more success, as she was asked to host and perform on the popular Jim Haynes Breakfast Show during the Tamworth Country Music Festival two years in a row.
Fast forward 10 years and Katie has since turned her passion into a full time career, performing and sharing her music most weekends around the NSW North/mid North Coast and QLD.
