KIAN - Childism

KIAN - Childism
16 year old Castlemaine resident KIAN, starting writing songs when he was only 14 years old. His first smash single ‘Waiting’, with its undeniable hooky melody, emotive lyrics and mature song writing, came straight from those early sessions of a visionary youngster. Seventy shows with friend and collaborator Baker Boy, saw KIAN cut his teeth on the live circuit early, with the young Australian shining on stage at this year’s Laneway Festival, and picking up coveted support slots for the likes of Jorja Smith. His songwriting abilities extend far beyond his years, with his lyrics colored by a deep understanding of the challenges affecting young people today.

About this track...

"This song is about me feeling like I couldn’t talk or express my feelings, like I couldn’t trust anyone. From being bullied to my family being split up this song resonates with me as it was inspired by the times I felt the lowest" says KIAN
