Jack and The Kids - Television Hero

Jack and The Kids - Television Hero
Jack and the Kids' music is that of passion perfected through disciple and contemplation in equal measure. It's an all-consuming sound—deriving from a state of consummation and existing inside a space that is, at once, intimate and vast. Fusing dramatic, synthesised rhythms and ambience with soaring guitars, Jack and the Kids' subtle melodies make the big moments sound all the more larger. The tension between intimate moments and the more personal longing fuel their palatable and unique style.

The first half of 2016 saw Jack And The Kids being crowned winners of the triple J Unearthed Groovin The Moo competition in Bendigo. Both of their singles ‘Real Again’ and ‘Alone’ received airplay with broadcaster triple j & triple J unearthed, with ‘Real Again’ receiving significant praise from online outlets in Australia and worldwide.

2017 saw the four-piece support the likes of British India, Running Touch, Ali Barter and Gretta Ray, as well as complete an East Coast tour including a feature show in Adelaide in cohesion with the release of the single ‘Your Eyes’.
