Soulful, dynamic and dreamy, Hannah Rosa is an artist who will capture your heart and command your attention. Armed with velvety vocals and brutally honest lyrics, the Brisbane based indie pop artist is developing a reputation for delivering goosebump-worthy performances. Hannah returns this year with her new single, ‘Fire’.

Hannah took a four-year hiatus from releasing music before making a come-back last year with single ‘Hollow’. The track was received, with high praise on triple j unearthed.

Hannah Rosa has previously opened for acts such as Mosquito Coast, Kate Ceberano and Kyle Lionhart, and performed at numerous festivals including Brisbane Festival, Queensland Music Festival, Bluesfest Byron Bay, Palm Creek Folk Festival and Teneriffe Festival.

Hannah Rosa is following up the success of ‘Hollow’ with her new single, ‘Fire’ - a hooky slow-burner that’ll have you looking for joy in unexpected places. With Hannah’s striking vocals upfront and centre, ‘Fire’ is couched in dreamy synths and pulsing guitar lines. Produced by Tristan Hoogland (Golden Vessel, Woodes) with additional production by Jarryd Shuker (Art of Sleeping, Wyatt), ‘Fire’ is a stunning follow-up to her last single ‘Hollow’.

About this track...

“I wrote ‘Fire’ about that uncomfortable feeling you can get scrolling through social media. If you’re depressed or unconfident, it can be confronting and isolating to see people looking happy and living life to the fullest. For me, the track is an antidote to negative self-talk and is a personal reminder that it is always possible to ‘catch alight’ again."
