Greta Bradman - My Hero

Greta Bradman - My Hero
Greta studied piano from age 6 through 18 years as well as flute, clarinet and guitar from ages 6 to 14. She was a member of her local youth theatre from ages 6 – 16, appearing in many plays and musicals. She sang in choirs from age 6 through to her time at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Greta won the state composition prize in her final school year and received a perfect score for the subject of composition, and a high distinction for piano. She won school colours for music and was a choir leader. Through university Greta was a core member of chamber choir Adelaide Chamber Singers, which won consecutive ‘Choir of the World’ awards in the USA, Italy and Wales. When at university Greta co-founded vocal trio Eve with whom she released two award-winning critically acclaimed albums and toured internationally.

Since 2010 Greta has presented concerts and operas in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Orchestral and larger ensemble works include the Edwards Symphony No. 2, Henryk Gorecki’s Symphony No. 3 Symphony of Sorrowful Songs (whose performance was described as “beautifully sung… the stuff of goosebumps”, Barefoot Review, 2012).
