In an attempt to call in all ‘freaks’ and ‘outliers’ with his new ominous tech house track ‘ffrreeaakk’, George Michelle takes you to his own version of a Blade Rave. "I wanted to make a song that was like a contemporary version of Crystal Method's 'Blood Rave' from the start of Blade - but for freaks and outliers - not vampires,” explains George Michelle. This follows his latest collaboration release ‘Keep Me Waiting’ with US duo Separate Ways, which gained the support of triple j, triple j Unearthed, Purple Sneakers, The Aston Shuffle, Rage, and more.
As a former member of post-punk band Death Bells and founding member of Sydney label Burning Rose, George Michelle is now making a name of himself in the world of tech house producing nostalgic blends of 90’s industrial, garage and progressive, which borders on simplistic, but is no-less effective.
