‘Carrie (I Want a Girl)’ is an edgy, fun, at times tongue-in-cheek punk song about being queer and loving women. Named after rock icon Carrie Brownstein and referencing a slew of prominent queer women in music and popular culture, the song celebrates sexuality and self-determination.

Upon the imagery of manicured lawns and the smell of BBQ on the breeze, "Neighbourhood" examines the “chilling ease with which mainstream Australia ignores its Indigenous history.” With its anti-chorus structure, the song is punctuated by instrumental breaks that increase in urgency with each verse.
