Future Haunts - Make Time

Future Haunts - Make Time
Future Haunts are the brainchild of frontman Ben Speight and bassist Daniel Sergiacomi. After enlisting guitarist Tom Lindeman and drummer Stuie McKenzie, the band changed out of their pajamas and took their bedroom demos to the people.

The move fed into a fruitful 2016, providing them with over 500,000 hits on Spotify for their single ‘Devon Loch’, claps from the taste-makers at Triple J, and the release of their debut EP ‘Rubicon’ in August. After cutting their teeth on shows with the likes of British India, Mid Ayr, Alex Lahey, Good Boy, and Born Joy Dead, the lads were chomping at the bit to launch into 2017.

Launch they did – straight into the arms of a jam-packed Foundry at the annual Mountain Goat Valley Crawl. After releasing an open slather in the studio, the chaps are now ready for new single ‘Make Time’ to reach your earholes.

Take a squiz into any eight-ball you like and Future Haunts will be right there – tearing stages across the country and in the background static of ‘the one song stuck in your head’. Get comfortable – this is one foursome you’ll want to make time for.

About this track...

"It’s an observational take on the disconnect that can occur between people when they become preoccupied with various aspects of life. It’s a gaze into the human condition in managing distractions in a modern world, while we’re constantly trying to place our time among the temporary.” - Ben Speight, vocals
