Exhibitionist - Blood     Pop, Electronic 07/06/2018
Exhibitionist is the solo project of Sydney based multi-instrumentalist Kirsty Tickle.
It's about when people, mostly men feel threatened by Tickle’s ambition, and was written after someone told her she’d be alone forever if she didn’t find a way to prioritize her relationships over her music. “It’s supposed to be fairly tongue-in-cheek, a middle finger to anyone who feels they have the authority to weigh in on someone’s ambitions”

Exhibitionist - Sway     Electronic, Pop 20/04/2018
Exhibitionist is the new project from Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist Kirsty Tickle, one half of noise act Party Dozen and formerly of Brisbane acts Little Scout & The John Steel singers.
'Sway' ebbs and flows throughout, drifting in slowly before erupting in a blast of Exhibitionist's hypnotic vocals alongside thudding percussion. It's a unique track that highlights her pop-sensibilities as well as her interest in working outside the square.

MUSIC DIRECTOR PICK: Aeron Clark, Edge, Hobart (TAS)

Exhibitionist - Motionless     Electronic, Pop, Dance, Ambience 27/10/2017
Exhibitionist is the new project from Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist artist Kirsty Tickle, one half of noise act Party Dozen and formerly of Brisbane acts Little Scout & The John Steel singers.
‘Motionless’ opens with crisp and garish beats that engender a minimalistic temperament, fortified by delicate vocals and resounding plucked strings. Hazy synths soon glide into an invigorating chorus bolstered with swelling strings and additional vocal harmonies, whilst an imperceptible syncopation embosses the track and progressively expands through flourishing woodwind harmonies.

Seekae - Turbine Blue     Electronic, Pop, Retro 23/06/2017
Australian-English trio Seekae are masters of their signature blend of electronic pop, IDM, post-dubstep, post-rock, house and ambient. Consistently hailed with international critical acclaim for their records and live show.
Turbine Blue was recorded in Berlin. 80's synths provide a mid-tempo, melancholic, drone-like progression that serves to uplift in the face of isolation and loneliness. Turbine Blue is a confessionary love song, full of hope but laced with the sheer dizzying heights of the risks involved in a confession.

The elusive duo behind 'Crave You', 'Foreign Language', 'With You' and 'Clair de lune', Hugo Gruzman and Jimmy Lyell are the production brains trust behind Flight Facilities.
No need to beat about the bush on that one. As taboo as the term has become, the genre has had more come-backs than a Hollywood bad guy. From the bass to the strings, it's nothing more than an unadulterated, feel-good guilty pleasure.

Mitzi - All I Heard     Pop, Dance, Rock 10/05/2012
Mitzi comply with a classic pop sensibility. Entwined by a backdrop of disco beats, syncopated guitar and bass grooves lies the Mitzi sound- dreamy vocals and a vintage analog warmth.
Mitzi’s blend of lazy disco grooves and anthemic pop hooks is reminiscent of DFA’s own Holy Ghost, admittedly with a sunnier disposition and typically Australian breezyness. All 3 tracks are excellent. These guys will be worth looking out for in 2011, without doubt.”– Juno
