Flight To Dubai - Bully

Flight To Dubai - Bully
Flight To Dubai indulge in the fervour and stoicism of late ‘70s post punk, adopted and delivered with earnestness and vigour. The impassioned performance of Flight’s front man Atlas, who hosts a deep bellowing baritone vocal, leads the band to fiercely immerse themselves into a performance that entices a back and forth between fierce punk rock aggression and a delicate early blues music incarnation; a deeply satisfying contrast.

Originally from Newcastle, now Sydney-siders, Flight To Dubai have been met with a hugely supportive and loyal following which has translated into a successful East Coast tour for their latest 7 inch release, ‘Graduation / Last Hue’. With their next offering taking shape, and an air of mystery surrounding the group, Flight To Dubai have never been more furious or eager.

Debut EP ‘Frontal Lobes’ delves into the trials and tribulations of altered perceptions. A dynamic whirlwind, rhythmically diverse and altogether exposed, these six tracks explore the irrational mind at it’s worst while floating face down in a pool of clouded judgement and insecurity.

About this track...

Bully looks at the realisation of being mentally unfit for a relationship. When something small makes such a huge impact, reality hits like a brick wall and the fear fuelled escape kicks in once again. It’s not a regret for the relationship having happened, but rather for it having to end.
