Dust of Us - The Swans

Dust of Us - The Swans
Brothers Ed & Lloyd Prescott have played in bands together since their early teens, though this is their first release as a duo.

Dust of Us’ idiosyncratic brand of dark and electronic indie-pop is difficult to pigeonhole, but it’s clear from this first track that they’re placing a premium on dynamics, texture and the element of surprise. References thrown around by those who've heard the song range from Depeche Mode to Sufjan Stevens, Junior Boys, Massive Attack and The Cure.

Written about mental wellbeing, lost friendships and time poorly spent, 'The Swans' is the first taste of their forthcoming debut EP. Though this song is sung by Ed, future Dust of Us tracks will feature incredible guest vocalists and ongoing collaborations.
