Showcasing the tone of the EP, the first single “The Edge” was released in December 2015. The band itself initially formed in 2014 with the addition of Drummer, Anthony Pallas’ to the pair of Reade and Michael Furolo. Pallas’ signature frenetic blast style was the perfect foil to the simple yet catchy guitar hooks of bassist turned songwriter Furolo. Together teaming up to write and record in their collective home studios, the aim was to finally produce the music they all enjoyed listening to. Inspired by acts like Bring Me the Horizon and Northlane, 2016 is set to be a big year for “Drown this City”. They are coming out swinging, ready to break down tired stereotypes and get people back into the live heavy music scene.
