Fronted by vocalist Rebecca Davey, who is influenced by the great Blues divas of the 1920s - Bessie Smith, Victoria Spivey, Ma Rainey. Rebecca channels the sounds and attitudes of these pioneering women, yet infuses her music with her own flavour.
On guitar is Sam Buckley - his influences range from Stevie Ray Vaughan, to Albert King, Gary Moore and Warren Haynes.
Bass is handled by Connor O'Neill - his style, utilising a fretless bass, is drawn from the Memphis Jug band.
Robert B Dillon is the drummer. Inspired by Gene Krupa and the 2nd line drumming of New Orleans, he also handles the technology of the loops that the band performs with on stage.
Dreamboogie have been in existence for 5 years. In the band's life, they have twice been crowned Blues Performer of the Year, and rewarded with trips to Memphis to compete at the International Blues Challenge. Their last trip, in 2016, gaining them massive interest due to their sound.
