Sunshine Coast-based artist, De Greer-Yindimincarlie, is releasing her sixth album, I Feel Small, featuring six original songs which have been a labour of love to record.
An award-winning visual artist in her own right, De spent six months working on this release to get it just right.
Featuring the heart-breaking but uplifting Perfect Angel to the salute to country music. Higher; struggle song We Got War and the title track I Feel Small, the EP is a beautiful and emotional journey.
De is a proud Aboriginal woman, from Wiradjuri nation who displayed a love of music from a very early age. She learnt a multitude of instruments and developed an eclectic musical palette.
Through her career, she has composed for film, toured nationally, released six albums and produced albums for many artists in her own studio.
She has played with amazing artists such as Dan Sultan, Wolfmother, Neil Murray, Tiddas, Kev Carmody, Archie Roach and Andrew Farris.
Artists who inspire her songwriting are classics like Janis Ian, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and more contemporary artists such as JJ Heller, Sarah McLachlan, KD Lang, Ingrid Michelson and Patty Griffin.
