Dale has written music scores for in excess of 200 hours of content, including; feature film, short film, animation, television drama, television reality shows, documentary series, and feature length documentaries.

His first feature film score, in 2002, for 'Till Human Voices Wake Us' earned the recognition of The Age newspaper's 'Critic's Choice' for Best Australian Film Score and has received multiple nominations and awards from Australian and overseas screen industry events, such as; A.P.R.A.'s Screen Music Awards, AFI/AACTA, and Danish Film Academy Awards.

Dale has been a featured composer on radio shows such as; ABC Classics FM, Triple R (Film Buffs Forecast) and 3MBS Melbourne, amongst others.

Dale's music has been broadcasted on all major TV networks in Australia, as well as; BBC 1 & BBC 2, ITV, Arte France, PBS (U.S.), Netflix (U.S.), Discovery, History, and National Geographic channels.

Dale has scored films officially selected for major film festivals, such as; Sundance Film Festival (Mary & Max - opening night film), Tribeca Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Cork (Ireland), Telluride (U.S.) and St Kilda Film Festival.

He is now producing an avant pop album for artist, Shenko, and developing more music his solo project, Ukiyo.
