Come Back, All Is Forgiven - their first album since 1999’s Loverama - the track sees the band retaining their trademark playfulness, whilst processing the world through a more mature lens.
This irresistible, stop-start pop nugget bounces along like the Custard we know and love. At one point, frontman David McCormack probes “can you lend me $30 for a few days until I get paid”, before shifting focus to former child star Danny Bonaduce and Little Richard, because “In a fan’s world, the pop stars all get along”.
