Brett Clarke - Angry Too Long

Brett Clarke - Angry Too Long
Tamworth’s very own singer/songwirter Brett Clarke brings you a gentle ballad by Nashville songwriters, Dan Bobbitt, Kerry Ford & Mark Carson which features some beautiful guitar work and a familiar story that many can relate to. Overcoming being stubborn and silly human pride, as well as time, tide and the realisation that life is short, the characters in this song put the past and their anger aside and let bygones be bygones. Reminiscent of Vince Gill's lines about there being no future in the past, the song places no blame on either side, it just hugs it out and moves on. Brett's easy to listen to voice as he tells the story is sweet and evokes the emotions that match the message. The production is polished and the delivery is spot on. A song to remember from a wonderful debut album.
