Originally hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Sarah packed her van in 2003, and drove across the lonely Nullarbor where she arrived in Fremantle not knowing a single soul. She began writing songs inspired by her remoteness and isolation and once she began performing it didn't take long for her to establish herself a reputation as a powerful yet fragile performer whose shows were a joy to watch.
She has come a long way since those wide eyed days, and has played around the world, performing at CMJ Music Marathon in New York, and NXNE in Toronto, and has also had the honour of opening for such artists as Jeff Lang, The New Pornographers, Jeff Martin (ex Tea Party) and Dom Mariani (The Stems).
Bird to Prey is spending 2009 - 2010 in North America where she is performing shows and writing new material.
