The PAKAM recording project recorded 48 original songs in the remote Kimberley communities of Djarindjin, Beagle Bay, Looma, Yungngora and Warmun by artists who had never had the chance to hear their songs on a stereo. The enthusiastic response is testament to the outstanding qualities of these many varied artists.
