Baluk Arts is a Victorian Aboriginal arts organisation based in Mornington representing Aboriginal artists from bayside, the Mornington Peninsula and south east Melbourne and is a non-profit 100% Aboriginal artist owned. Baluk Arts was initiated and is driven by Aboriginal artists of Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula and endeavours to strengthen community through the arts. Baluk Arts encourages Indigenous health and wellbeing, leadership, community development and Indigenous governance through innovative arts practice. Baluk Arts is registered on the national Register of Cultural Organisations and is an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient and charitable institution.

The organisation’s main objective is the delivery of a dynamic artistic program and services, to continue to create high quality urban Indigenous arts, as well as improving the financial position of its artists and members through employment and sales. Baluk Arts is fast becoming a leading urban Aboriginal Art Centre in Australia that is beginning to significantly contribute to the national Indigenous art industry.
