To date, the Newcastle (NSW Australia) duo have accumulated over 40 million Spotify streams and dominated national airwaves with their singles ‘Oh My’, ‘Deception Bay’ and ‘Fool’. BOO Seeka’s single ‘Deception Bay’ reached #50 in triple j’s 2015 Hottest 100 edition and snagged the duo a J Award nomination for Unearthed Artist of the Year later that year.
Their most recent singles, ‘Millenium Drive' punches a pack from start to finish, navigating through a bed of spacey synth and string layers. It's the most galvanising release from the two dream-tronic beat makers and it materialised in just 15 minutes.
Written as a release of frustration. BOO wrote the track as if they put on a pair of boxing gloves and let loose on the heavy bag. Triggered in part by the legacy left by The Prodigy, 'Millennium Drive' is an amalgamation of ideas and blurred lines. Combining BOO's signature vocal over drum-and-bass-synth sounds, it's a fiery three minute journey on a sonic highway.
