Jeida Woods is a 20 y.o. singer, songwriter, producer & model. At 15, he learned to write and produce in his bedroom. Comparable to artists Bryson Tiller & The Weeknd.
Selfless is a culmination of previous relationships with negative endings.

I wrote the song one cold night in less than 30 minutes as it was so true to my emotions in that current state. It highlights how people don’t know what they have until it’s gone.

Lead single 'Imaginary Friends,' explores the tender emotions of late teendom and early 20s turmoil. As he validates the mundane, no emotion is wasted. “None of the things are about massive changes or massive terrible things that happened, or big breakups,” he says. “It’s all songs about little things and it’s also fine to be affected by little things.”

Jaguar Jonze crafts songs of melancholic beauty woven with gun slinging guitar lines and a strikingly rich, yet intimate voice.
“'You Got Left Behind' is about a few things - namely growing up and seeing people have a resistance to do so. With that came the torment of watching loved ones fall into a cycle of self-victimisation, self-harm and self-medication. I wrote the song around the time I was drawing a particular piece for my artistic project, Spectator Jonze.”

imbi the girl has started a movement of unapologetic truth, self-belief and self-love with their eclectic brand of ‘melodic rap,’ combining elements of hip-hop, R&B and soul.
‘our room’ pairs imbi the girl’s tender poetry with a hypnotic melody, layering their buttery vocals and soulful flow over understated production that helps spotlight their raw storytelling as they provide an emotional recount of their childhood psyche. Centred around a catharsis of childhood struggles, imbi the girl conveys feelings of collective nostalgia and healing of childhood trauma.

Huntly - Giving Circle     Pop, Electronic, Dance, RnB 22/02/2019
'Giving Circle' is the fourth remarkable single from Huntly’s debut album Low Grade Buzz, to be released on March 15 via Barely Dressed Records/Remote Control.
Opening with a legato wash of dreamy choral harmonies before a beat drops and we find ourselves transported to a world of flawless RnB. Elspeth explains, “Giving Circle is a pop tragedy, combining rawness and intimacy with movement and energy. It’s about dread, loneliness, and how we shift and adjust to our social landscapes after the end of a relationship.”

Hope D - Swim     Rock, Acoustic, Pop 10/05/2019
Brisbane singer-songwriter Hope D began writing and playing music at age 9, and since then has built a reputation for her free flowing lyrics layered on looped acoustic guitar.
With raw and relatable lyrics, ‘Swim’ is intended to be an anthem many will find comfort in. Hope D explains that 'Swim' "tells the brutally honest story of the internal battle of trying to find yourself and then hiding what you find out of fear of not being accepted".

Holiday Party - Run Away     Pop, Electronic, Psychedelic, Experimental 09/08/2018
Drawing influence from artists like The Avalanches, Beach House and JDilla, Holiday Party builds songs with homemade samples, creating junkyard pop music. Brisbane musicians Luke McDonald and Mel Tickle.
Taking yet another artistic leap forward, ‘Run Away’ builds on Holiday Party’s reputation for densely packed dream-pop, and continues to seamlessly blend layers of homemade samples and crunchy percussion with dreamy vocals and left-of-centre guitar work. Expanding their junkyard-pop sound, ‘Run Away’ is brimming with bright synths, Lana Del Rey-inspired vocals and continues the bands theme of utilising forgotten samples.

Hemm are Melbourne-based duo Juice Webster and Robert Downie. Their intimate electronic songs explore the everyday complexities of connection in life and love.
Hair picks up the thread laid by late-2018 single Skin, acting as further evidence of Hemm's quiet transformation into virtuosos of minimalist ambient pop.

It is a breathtaking lesson in minimalism, with every element tuned deliberately to the track’s purposeful narrative. “You are not who you seem to be,” intones Juice, as the track blooms into a sublime choral climax.

Hannah Blackburn - Did You Always Know     Folk, Rock, Pop, Alternative Country 24/05/2019
Hannah Blackburn is a Melbourne based musician, specialising in lyrically-charged folk/soft rock - straightforward and earnest.
Did You Always Know was written in the wake of a breakup. It harnesses the immediate feelings of nostalgia, and captures the inevitable denial which allows us heartbroken suckers to throw reality out the window and forget all bad. As the song goes on, it structurally steps through the acceptance process, however always returns to question 'Did You Always Know'?

Greta Stanley - Follow Suit     Folk, Rock, Electronic, Pop 19/06/2019
Produced by Mark Myers from The Middle East, 'Follow Suit' is the latest stunner from acclaimed Cairns singer/songwriter Greta Stanley. It will feature on her upcoming EP (due July 26).

Gordon Koang is a household name in South Sudan, with 9 incredible albums. Currently seeking asylum in Australia, Gordon spreads a message of peace, love and unity, dancefloor style.
‘Stand Up (Clap Your Hands)’ is a favourite from Koang’s live performances, an invitation to the audience to get up and strut their stuff. He comments on the ‘seriousness’ of music in his adopted country, asking listeners to dance with their loved ones and feel the message of his music; namely - peace, love and unity.

Future Haunts - Weather Vane     Rock 11/04/2019
Melding the cosmic studio journeying of The War on Drugs with the melodic immediacy of The Stone Roses, Future Haunts exist on the blurry edges of rock music.
Self-recorded at Plutonium Studios and mixed by Miro Mackie (St. Vincent, DZ Deathrays, Hatchie), 'Weather Vane', resonates with Future Haunts' natural sound but further pushes the boundaries they've explored on past releases. An atmospheric indie-rock track detailed with contrasting and layered guitar melodies, it sees the boys carve together imposing harmonies with competent instrumentation.
