Led by singer-songwriter-guitarist Michael Brigante, Attonbitus fuses music and poetry to create a compelling live experience. Band members Shivon Diana (bassist) and Alex Walendy (drummer) drive the group through groovy alternative bass melodies complemented with clean-cut drumbeats hinting undertones in prog, grunge, and reggae.
During 2017 they began recording the album with their longtime friend Nick Gates at his newly developed recording studio “Moon 33 Studios”. It’s worthwhile noting that Brigante began to make a name for himself amongst the Adelaide slam poetry community, which is showcased on the album.
The album is homage to all who have supported the band and gives a message that sheds light on the many ways we cope under mental stress. Most importantly the album shouts an anthem of love and support for our friends and family. It’s a journey battling the doubts and fears of our own thoughts and persisting with doing it our own way, and thinking for ourselves.
